co‧or‧di‧nate is a graph contained with 2 straight lines perpendicularly across each other, there is 4 different areas. The vertical line represents a number line from the bottom the negative number up to the top the positive numbers. Just like the horizontal line, it is a number line starting from the positive number to the negative number. Points in Quadrant 1 have positive x and positive y coordinates.
Points in Quadrant 2 have negative x but positive y coordinates.
Points in Quadrant 3 have negative x and negative y coordinates.
Points in Quadrant 4 have positive x but negative y coordinates.

It would be hard to memorize these words to learn the coordinate plane. So the normal graphs already tells you the negative and the positive coordinations. Let’s do an example on quadrant 1.

The green point at quadrant one is above the point 2 and is next to the point 4. So it would have been (2,4). The blue point at Quadrant 4  is at the bottom of 5 and next to -5. So the coordinate is (5, -5). ANd so on.

The line shown Vertically is the y-axis, and the horizontal line is the x-axis.

If you need to track a progress of your business, you can use the coordinate graph as in x and y.

X= money

Y= Amount sold

And when we put it on the graph each month. We can check the progress of our business.
